Salary
52,000 - 62,000 per annum, dependent on experience + benefits, part time pro-rated.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern
Full-time, Monday to Friday (09:30am - 6:00pm)
Alternative working pattern available: Tuesday to Saturday
Saturday hours (if applicable): 09:00am - 4:00pm
This is an on-site clinic-based role with some school/home visit recommendations.
Flexibility may be available for part-time applicants
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist with leadership skills to take the next step in their career within a highly respected therapy service in Central London (WC1E). The Senior OT role offers the chance to combine advanced clinical practice with team supervision, mentoring, and service development. You will join a warm, forward-thinking multidisciplinary environment where sensory integration is at the heart of the service, supporting children and young people aged 0-18 to thrive in meaningful everyday occupations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, support, and supervise a team of Band 5 and Band 6 Occupational Therapists
Manage a complex paediatric caseload, delivering high-quality assessments and interventions
Oversee therapy planning for fine motor, gross motor, and sensory processing needs
Ensure clinical standards and best practice are maintained across the service
Provide practical home and school-based recommendations to families and professionals
Deliver specialist sensory integration programmes for children with complex presentations
Communicate therapy goals and progress effectively with parents, schools, and MDT colleagues
Conduct online therapy sessions for children unable to attend in person
Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and wider service development strategy
Support training, supervision, and mentoring of junior staff and student placements
Requirements
BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration
Minimum 5 years' Occupational Therapy experience, including at least 2 years in paediatrics
Have the right to work within the UK (no sponsorship required)
Previous senior, supervisory, or leadership experience is highly desirable
Sensory Integration certification or strong sensory integration clinical experience
Passion for mentoring, developing others, and contributing to team growth
Strong communication skills with families, schools, and multidisciplinary professionals
Confident working with children with developmental, physical, and social communication needs
Ability to deliver structured interventions across clinic, home, school, and virtual settings
Suitable candidates as a Senior Paediatric OT, Sensory Integration OT, or Specialist Children's Occupational Therapist
