Key responsibilities
Support fee earners with minimal supervision, including:
o Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
o Transfers of equity
o Re-mortgages
o New build transactions
o Help to Buy schemes
Draft and prepare all required legal documentation and correspondence including contracts, leases and completion statements.
Conduct title checks, searches ensuring compliance with Land Registry and raise appropriate enquiries.
Liaise with clients, lenders, estate agents, brokers, and solicitors.
Ensure all files meet regulatory and compliance standards (including AML, CQS, and internal risk procedures).
Maintain accurate file notes, case management system updates, and billing records.
Provide an excellent standard of client care, ensuring clients are fully informed throughout the transaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with referrers, agents and repeat clients.
Assist junior paralegals and administrative staff, offering guidance and mentorship where needed.
Contribute to workflow management and team organisation during busy periods.
Support the department with internal training, process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Skills
Minimum
3-5 years' experience
in
Residential Conveyancing.
Proven ability to support fee-earners with a busy caseload, independently.
Strong understanding of residential property law and the full transaction lifecycle.
Excellent communication skills and a confident, client-focused approach.
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and to manage multiple cases simultaneously to meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and file management skills.
Proficiency with conveyancing case management systems and Microsoft Office.
Ability to demonstrate and implement initiative when working on files
Enthusiasm and a positive "can do" attitude, with a willingness to continued learning and development

Pay: 27,000 to 32,000 per annum depending upon experience
