We are seeking a

Senior Paralegal

to join our expanding and highly-regarded team, working alongside experienced fee earners and paralegals within a department recognised in The Legal 500 for excellence.

The Role



This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced paralegal to take on a senior role within our Court of Protection & Vulnerable Persons team. You will work closely with clients, families, and carers to provide practical, financial, and legal support, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and empathy.

Key responsibilities include:



Managing day-to-day finances and bill payments for clients. Assisting with budgeting, financial planning, and coordination of essential purchases. Conducting annual home visits to assess ongoing client needs. Supporting and mentoring junior paralegals and trainees within the department. Working collaboratively with fee earners to ensure high-quality service and compliance with legal requirements.

The Candidate



We are looking for a proactive, detail-driven professional who brings sound judgment and strong client care. Experience within Court of Protection matters is ideal, although candidates from a Private Client background who wish to specialise will also be considered.

Essential skills and attributes include:



Strong financial judgment including budget management and payment processing. Ability to manage a caseload independently and prioritise effectively. Excellent communication skills, including a confident and compassionate telephone manner. Experience in client liaison and negotiation to ensure optimal outcomes. Proficiency in IT, including case management systems. A supportive and collaborative approach, able to mentor and guide junior team members.
