This is a six-month Fixed Term Contract for 4 days a week. The position is designed to act as the key link between the Payroll Manager and the payroll team. The role ensures the efficient running of payroll operations within L'Occitane while the Payroll Manager is seconded to a key project.

What Will You Do?



Payroll Operations

Serve as an escalation point for payroll queries, providing empathetic and clear resolutions. Review and approve manual calculations and payments, ensuring audit readiness. Liaise with third parties (e.g., HMRC, system providers) to meet service commitments. Collaborate with Line Managers and internal partners to deliver timely and efficient service.


Systems Management

Maintain regular contact with HRIS provider (Zellis) to ensure excellent service delivery for UK and Ireland payrolls. Engage proactively with internal stakeholders, including regional and global L'Occitane teams. Ensure compliance and data integrity in all payroll processes.


Reporting

Manage statutory reporting (e.g., Gender Pay Gap, ONS, HMRC) ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Provide data for internal and external audits with high standards of accuracy and presentation. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and service providers.



The Perfect Candidate:





Strong stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the organisation. In-depth knowledge of legal and statutory payroll requirements. High customer service orientation for both internal and external clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Effective time and priority management, especially under pressure. Flexible and adaptable in implementing change and process improvements. Motivated and results-driven with a focus on departmental objectives. Strong leadership and team collaboration skills. Strategic problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Proficient in Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
