The Colorectal service at Ashford and St Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides high quality specialist services for a variety of Pelvic Floor Conditions.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join our close-knit and dynamic Colorectal team in this exciting pelvic floor clinical setting. We are looking for an individual with pelvic floor experience who can work autonomously as a clinical expert, manage a caseload of patients within the specialty and demonstrate highly developed specialist knowledge in pelvic floor conditions.

The post offers a brilliant opportunity for a dynamic nurse to w ork within defined protocols to apply advanced practitioner skills to undertake clinical examination on surgical patients to analyse symptoms, interpret and report findings to the clinical team. The post holder will also undertake a wide range of advanced clinical interventions including organising investigations, outpatient consultation, Independent Nurse Prescribing and interpretation of test results.
Contribute to an expert specialist service, management of pelvic floor problems and Sacral Nerve Neuromodulation, which positively impacts on the experience of patients and carers by providing high standards of clinical practice and care
To plan patient treatment and advise Consultants, Nurse and Physiotherapists of care modalities
In collaboration with other members of the team and other key staff, the post holder will contribute to the day to day management of the service, providing specialist advice and support to service users
To be responsible and accountable for the implementation of Audit, Quality and Risk Management initiatives

It is essential that you are a good communicator, have extensive colorectal nursing experience, work well within a multidisciplinary team environment and have the ability to challenge practice to ensure delivery of a safe and efficient service.
The successful candidate must be able to evidence a track record of change management in a challenging and complex environment. Quality improvement and achievement of identified key performance indicators are paramount. You will need to hold a valid NMC Registration.
