Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified or experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Clinical Trials (Adult) Pharmacy Department at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT). The department manages Clinical Trials from early stage Phase I studies to Post license Phase IV studies; handling a range of molecules from Advanced Therapies to traditional formulations.

The successful applicant will be working alongside a range of experienced leading researchers who run studies from our various research

platforms.

The post holder will be managing existing studies in line with Good Clinical Practice principles and working alongside our specialist set-up team delivering new studies.

The successful applicant will primarily focus on:

Management of existing studies

Managing Amendments as part of the amendments team

Early Stage Studies Feasibility

Site Qualification support to the Sponsors

Studies Set up

Studies Initiation

Studies closing and Archiving

The department has advanced capabilities and several years of experience in managing Clinical Trials from multinational Pharmaceutical

companies and non-commercial organisations. The Trust has a large portfolio of sponsored studies where Clinical Trials Pharmacy act as a

Sponsor Pharmacy.

Our researchers collaborate and work along side with our academic and industrial partners.
