Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a registered pharmacy technician to join our well established dispensary team.
The successful candidate will be based in the dispensary providing a quality pharmacy service to wards and community clinics across the Trust.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for ensuring that the department runs efficiently, working closely with the other senior pharmacy technicians within the department, the dispensary manager and lead ATOs.
Main duties will include
Assisting and deputising for the Dispensary ManagerDispensing and final accuracy checking for inpatients and outpatientsEnsuring the team functions efficiently, coordinating workflowSupervision and training on new and pre-registration staffAssisting in overseeing stock controlSupporting audit and quality improvement initiatives.
