Senior Physiotherapist - Neurorehabilitation



Location: Kingston Rehabilitation Centre



Job Type: Part-time, Permanent (22.50 hours per week worked over 3 days)



Salary: 38,000 (FTE)



Are you an experienced Senior Physiotherapist looking to make a real difference in a specialist neurorehabilitation setting? We're seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to lead and deliver high-quality physiotherapy services at Bagshot Park Rehabilitation Services. Key Responsibilities:



Lead Physiotherapy Services: Develop, implement, and evaluate highly specialist physiotherapy services in line with national and local guidelines. Manage Caseload: Assess, treat, and manage your own caseload of patients, including those with acquired brain injuries, long-term disabilities, and complex rehabilitation needs. Expert Advice: Provide specialist knowledge and guidance to therapy staff, the wider MDT (multidisciplinary team), and external agencies. Neurorehabilitation Assessment: Lead preadmission neuro-rehabilitation assessments and support the clinical decision-making process for patient admissions. Staff Leadership & Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapy staff and assistants. Support their professional development through regular supervision and training. Collaborative Approach: Work alongside care, nursing, and therapy teams to deliver holistic rehabilitation, promoting independence and recovery. Clinical Reasoning & Goal Setting: Use evidence-based clinical reasoning to develop and review treatment plans and goals. Ensure rehabilitation progress and adapt plans as necessary. Quality & Compliance: Maintain high standards of clinical care, ensuring patient records are accurate, and comply with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.

What You'll Need:



Professional Qualification: Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent. HCPC Registered: Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Experience: Significant experience in physiotherapy, including neuro-rehabilitation and long-term disability management. Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and supervising a therapy team, including managing complex caseloads. Specialist Knowledge: Expertise in the rehabilitation of patients with acquired brain injury and neurological conditions. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and with patients. Commitment to Development: Willingness to participate in continued professional development, training, and service improvement.
