Job Description

Join our dedicated and dynamic paediatric team at King's Mill Hospital, where we care for children aged 0-19 across a wide range of specialities. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a small, supportive team that manages all ward admissions and referrals, including:



Medical, Surgical, Neurodisability, Orthopaedic, Respiratory, Rehabilitation, and Repatriation cases



Cystic Fibrosis admissions and Induced Sputum sampling



Complex discharge planning and HDU bed coverage for respiratory and rehabilitation needs

We also support Maternity and NICU for children born with:

Positional Talipes



Torticollis



Erb's Palsy



Other birthing injuries or packaging disorders



Our team runs a daily outpatient caseload for Positional Talipes and plays a key role in training and education, including:



Medical students and staff



Physiotherapy and OT university students



Work experience placements



On-call staff training and competency development



Annual Paediatric On-call updates



Applicants must be willing to participate in the on-call rota, which includes both adult and paediatric responsibilities.
