The Job Mission
You will join the NSSS team to supervise field installation of nuclear piping systems.
This is a front-line construction delivery role on a major new-build programme.
You'll drive productivity, ensure quality, and uphold safety on a fast-paced site.
Supervise daily NSSS piping installation activities to meet site progress targets
Maintain high safety standards and stop unsafe works where necessary
Ensure preservation and cleanliness rules are followed in all work areas
Coordinate with other contractors to manage interfaces and avoid clashes
Validate installation quality through random checks and permit authorisations
Monitor critical activities aligned with 4-week lookahead planning
Support implementation of piping supervision programme and site documentation
Escalate risks, blockers, and site drift to the NSSS Project Manager promptly
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Qualifications
10+ years in piping installation supervision or similar site-based construction role
Strong leadership to guide and coordinate contractor installation teams
Effective communicator with site teams and project stakeholders
Solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements and CDM Regulations
Skilled in site progress tracking and resolving installation blockages
Experience supervising large piping scopes on high-value projects
Able to work autonomously and escalate issues when needed
Attention to detail in checking installation against site requirements

Desired Skills and Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Welding discipline
Understanding of PWR (Pressurised Water Reactor) design principles
Knowledge of fire, height, and hot work permits in nuclear environments
Background in nuclear or heavy industrial sectors
