Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for a Planner to join our team in Birmingham.

Implementing planning best practices Ensuring compliance with HS2 standards Integrating programme, budget, cost & risk at all levels Driving performance through innovation and smart use of IT Championing BBV values with a focus on Zero Harm & collaboration

Who we're looking for:

The following qualities/experience are essential:


Computer literacy: - Primavera (all versions) - Microsoft Project - Word/Excel Some site experience of which some must be in relevant disciplines and some as a discipline planner Presentation skills Aptitude for logic and attention to detail Some experience of planning & project control services within large complex environments within the construction and engineering industry A working knowledge of methods of project controls, planning and performance reporting; Knowledge of risk An appreciation of the events that initiate, and of the methods used to demonstrate, delay or change entitlement A knowledge of the construction market, methods of construction, plant, equipment and labour requirements

We are building the West Midlands section of HS2's Phase One route, spanning approximately 90km from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.
