We are looking for an experienced and confident Senior Developer who brings depth, strong opinions and proper senior level thinking. Someone who can help shape where we go next and keep raising the bar.


You will not be coming in to maintain old code. You will be working on new and exciting projects that directly support how our games connect to the platform. You will be building the foundations that let multiple studios innovate at pace. Your work will be noticed. Your decisions will matter. Your experience will shape our next chapter.

What will I be doing

You will be stepping into a senior role that influences technical direction across the wider Platform Team at tombola. You will help drive forward our mission to fully decouple our platform from our games so our studios can innovate freely. This is high impact work across performance, reliability, scalability and future growth.

What you will be working on

Refactoring and decoupling platform components so multiple studios and games can integrate smoothly Maintaining and improving back end services and APIs to support reliability and growth Making sure the platform is reliable, scalable and flexible for future expansion Taking ownership of back end projects that have visibility across the business Helping guide engineering choices by shaping patterns, practices and approaches Coaching and mentoring developers to support their growth and confidence Supporting the team through pair programming, knowledge sharing and technical guidance Contributing your senior voice to planning, architecture and wider platform decisions

What does good look like for us

Knowledge and experience we need you to have

You are an established Senior Developer with strong C# and .NET experience Excellent knowledge of .NET Framework MVC and .NET Core Proven experience building scalable, reliable and secure back-end systems Comfortable operating in complex platform environments Confident contributing to architecture and technical direction Experience coaching and mentoring other developers Pragmatic and adaptable in a fast paced environment Experience with AWS or cloud native technologies

The tech you will get hands on with

C# ASP.NET Framework and Core AWS services including S3 RDS ECS Docker Terraform TeamCity GitHub SQL and NoSQL databases including MSSQL DynamoDB and Redis Node.js and TypeScript where it supports integration work
