Senior Platform Engineer

Summary
In this role, you will be contributing towards technology that helps our customers make the world safer and fairer.
As a Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain the internal developer platform (IDP) and cloud infrastructure that empowers our engineering teams to ship high-quality software faster and more reliably.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Build and evolve self-service tooling, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud environments (Azure)
Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and GitOps workflows
Create golden paths and paved roads that reduce cognitive load for developers
Monitor, optimize, and ensure security, scalability, and cost-efficiency of the platform
Collaborate with SRE, Security, and application teams to define standards and best practices
Automate repetitive tasks and eliminate toil through tooling and runbooks
Drive adoption of modern practices (observability, progressive delivery, chaos engineering)
We are looking for someone who:
Empathetic toward developers and obsessed with reducing friction
Comfortable with ambiguity and driving initiatives end-to-end
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Always learning and sharing knowledge with the team
Sense of ownership, bias for action, and excellent communication skills
Your Experience
3+ years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles
Proven track record of building and scaling production-grade systems in high-traffic environments
Experience working in agile teams at tech companies or startups with fast iteration cycles
Prior exposure to large-scale deployments supporting 100+ developers or multiple product teams
Background in troubleshooting complex distributed systems and optimizing for performance/cost
