Job Description

Hybrid requirements: This role has flexible working patterns.
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with experience in AWS, EKS, and ideally Azure. You will lead the design and implementation of build, release, deployment, and infrastructure for the Tillo platform across multiple services while supporting a migration from Azure to AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a migration from Azure to AWS, maintaining all Azure and AWS architecture and services.
Support the security of the platform and infrastructure.
Operate container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes / EKS).
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
Design, build, and manage Infrastructure as Code.
Work in an agile way following DevOps principles.
Manage disaster recovery, monitoring, and alerting.
Mentor platform and software engineers on best practices.

Key Requirements:

Strong experience with AWS as a cloud provider, particularly managing EKS workloads.
Some experience with Azure as a cloud provider.
Experience working in the PHP, Python, and/or .NET ecosystems.
Proficiency in writing Infrastructure as Code (ideally in Pulumi).
Experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of Git/source control.
Experience with configuration management systems (such as Ansible or Chef).
Ability to communicate the benefits of DevOps practices, such as Agile ways of working, theory of constraints, and SLO-based monitoring.
Experience working in a fast-scaling business and embracing the changes and challenges this brings.

Preffered but not essential:

Bash and PowerShell scripting.
Experience with Terraform.
Provisioning and administering Windows Servers and VMs.
Managing SQL Server and Azure SQL databases.
Managing Windows Active Directory.
