Join Barclays as a Senior PMO and play a pivotal role in driving organisational change and ensuring smooth delivery of business-critical initiatives. You will own the programme-wide RAID framework, maintain consistency, traceability, and effective escalation, while co-ordinating the resolution of cross-functional risks and engaging senior stakeholders directly. Working closely with delivery leads, you will design and execute remediation and mitigation plans, produce high-quality governance packs, decision papers, and insight reporting for senior forums, and support independent assurance or regulatory reviews through cohesive evidence and narrative. The role also involves strengthening PMO discipline across the programme by embedding standards, controls, and delivery hygiene, acting as a key problem-solver for blockers through root cause analysis and influence, and driving continuous improvement of PMO processes to align with programme maturity and simplification goals.
The role requires a strong PMO or delivery background within regulatory, risk, or control transformation programmes, coupled with proven experience in owning and resolving complex challenges that span multiple workstreams or functions. Exceptional stakeholder influence and communication skills at senior levels are essential, alongside a deep understanding of governance, control, and assurance requirements. Candidates must demonstrate an analytical mindset with the ability to connect detailed insights to strategic outcomes and show evidence of end-to-end delivery ownership across large, regulated programmes. This is an execution leadership role, accountable for driving outcomes.
