Inspired2Care is developing a new, bespoke service and we are seeking highly experienced, suitably qualified
Senior Positive Behaviour Support Workers
to join our team.
In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of care, providing first-line leadership to a team of Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners. You will model best practice, support staff development, guide the implementation of care plans and risk management strategies, and ensure that our values and high standards of care are consistently upheld.
You will work closely with Behaviour Specialists, the residential care team and wider MDT to ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred support for residents. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training and ongoing coaching from an experienced Behaviour Specialist, Registered Manager and Senior Management Team.
You will support adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs, behaviours of concern and other complex presentations within a residential setting. You will also oversee structured daily support, respond to emergencies, and contribute to the smooth running of the home.
What We're Looking For
Strong leadership and team-management abilities
Experience working collaboratively with MDT members and families
Knowledge and experience of safeguarding and risk management
Skilled in care planning, transition planning and creating individualised daily activity schedules
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Clear, confident and compassionate communication
Sensitive, supportive, and committed to high-quality, person-centred care
Qualifications & Experience
Option 1:
Degree in Health & Social Care or related field (e.g., Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Therapy)
Minimum 1 year's paid experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge
CPI Safety Intervention / MAPA training (desirable -- full training provided)
OR
Option 2:
Minimum 3 years' paid experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge
Experience managing the day-to-day delivery of care within a residential or nursing setting
CPI Safety Intervention / MAPA training (desirable -- full training provided)
