Picture Shop UK is looking for a Senior Production Engineer who is able to work in a diverse and highly agile environment, at the elite level of Post Production.


Candidates must be natural problem solvers who understand the criticality of service uptime, client service environments and content security and understand the intricacies of implementing and supporting global platforms and systems. With a broad range of post services and platforms, global reach, teamworking and outlook, the candidate must be a self-motivated team player, prepared to share knowledge and help develop the skills of others across all Streamland businesses both in the UK and across the wider group.

What we need you to do.




Key duties will include maintaining servers and workstation deployment in on prem and remote Linux/Windows/MacOS environments, whilst keeping a constant eye on security. Input on the design and implementation of projects will be expected, as well as the ability to be an intrinsic part of their success.



Work with the Engineering team to support, plan and integrate various services and platforms across different external and internal client contracts. File transfer systems, license servers and AWS knowledge. Broadcast workflows for edit and audio. Amulet and HP Anywhere Administer key services in Active Directory.

What Experience we're looking for!



Essential




A broad experience base and hands on approach, with solid production system administration fundamentals and an ability to be an independent thinker and problem solver. Forward looking, resourceful, natural curiosity about technology and what we do, the role is critical to meeting client deadlines.

Avid Media Composer, Nexis, Protools AWS knowledge Adobe products Proven track record of resolving issues associated with system configuration management, resource sharing and networking concepts. Proficient with Linux, Windows and Mac operating systems Good documentation and communication skills.

Desirable (training will be provided for applicants not familiar with these systems)

Predominately Mon - Fri, 09.00 to 18.00 * Central London based with frequent visits to other London based offices.
