Design of power distribution and transmission infrastructure Expertise in power protection systems design and testing

Proficient in power systems analysis including:


Load flow Thermal constraints Voltage analysis

Strong understanding of electrical equipment:


Switchgear Substation equipment Overhead cables

Specific experience in substation design up to UK Grid Supply Point (GSP) level - 132kV


Skilled in protection relay settings


Familiarity with real-time systems in a power distribution context Hands-on experience in physical implementation of connections and reinforcement

Knowledge of network planning applications such as:


DigSilent PowerFactory Protection design toolsets Substation design toolsets

Prepare technical reports compliant with UK Grid codes




Minimum 5 years' experience across the above areas


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering


Master's degree or PhD in Power Systems Engineering (ideal)
