Salary: \xc2\xa338 - \xc2\xa340,000 - Job Type: Permanent Opportunity for a Senior PR Executive with proven experience of media relations/working with journalists. Hybrid.

THE ROLE Reporting to the Media and Communications Manager, this exciting and varied role will see you oversee the in-house press office function and support the media relations strategy. Day to day you\'ll be responsible for:
- being the first point of contact for media enquiries and the lead for all press office activity
- researching, writing and distributing press releases, news stories and case studies around, for example, the company\'s innovation activity
- developing briefs and key messages
- leading the awards programme and scoping out media opps for high-profile ambassadors
- monitoring and evaluating both pro-active and reactive media activity
- curating and creating content for a range of uses

YOU We\'d love to hear from if you are/have:
- around 3-4 years\' experience of public relations, running a press office and devising/delivering a PR strategy
- experience of media relations (working with journalists)
- experience of the automotive and/or tech space is a bonus
- excellent writing skills and the ability to create compelling content for a range of uses including press releases, news stories and case studies
- a great eye for what makes a good story, developing pitches and the confidence to pitch stories to journalists
- experience of developing key messages and briefing spokespeople.
