Salary: 25,000 - 29,000 per year
Sleep-In Rate: 60 per night
Hours: Average of 37 hours per week on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays

About the Role
We are seeking a caring, resilient, and dedicated Residential Practitioner to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting the wellbeing and development of the children in our care. You'll help create a safe, warm, and structured environment that encourages positive outcomes for every young person.

Key Responsibilities
Provide day to day care and emotional support to children and young people.
Build strong, trusted relationships and promote a sense of security.
Support children with routines, personal care, school, and activities.
Implement individual care plans and risk assessments.
Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and child protection standards.
Record key information clearly and professionally.
Promote independence, resilience, and life skills.
Work closely with colleagues, external agencies, and families to ensure consistent, therapeutic care.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 1 year of experience working with young people (preferred)
Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce (or willingness to work towards it)
Full UK driving licence (manual preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of trauma-informed practice and safeguarding principles
Commitment to shift work, including evenings and weekends
Ability to reflect, adapt, and contribute to a team

An Enhanced DBS check (children's workforce) is required and paid for by us.
