(GRT) individuals and families to have their voices heard and rights upheld?
Travelling Ahead provides advice and advocacy supporting people to access their rights and entitlements, address inequalities and tackle discrimination. The team are home based and work flexibly in a range of settings.
As our Senior Practitioner, you'll lead engagement and participation activities, support local forums, residents groups and consultations, and work directly with families and community advocates to strengthen representation at local and national levels. The role is home based but with regular travel across Wales as required.
What we're looking for:
Experience in community engagement and participatory approaches
Strong communication and partnership working skills
Ability to support and lead a small team
Understanding of the barriers facing Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities
Commitment to equality, inclusion and social justice
