The Job Mission
This is a key leadership role within Assystem's site-based delivery team at Hinkley Point C.
You will lead piping integration across systems and work-fronts on a mega-scale nuclear project.
You will ensure readiness for commissioning and drive engineering alignment on-site.
? Lead end-to-end piping integration from engineering to commissioning
? Oversee interface control and system freeze boundaries across MEH disciplines
? Review and approve system change requests and late-stage design deviations
? Collaborate with HVAC, Electrical and Commissioning leads for cross-discipline alignment
? Act as site-facing piping technical authority and escalation point
? Ensure installation activities align with engineering design and sequencing
? Conduct technical reviews with MEH delivery contractors to assess readiness
? Support real-time decisions that affect progress on critical path systems
Qualifications
Essential Skills
Degree in Mechanical, Process or similar engineering field
Experience in heavy industrial projects
Site-based integration experience with high-integrity systems
Strong knowledge of piping construction and commissioning practices
Experience with freeze boundary and change control management
Stakeholder-facing role with strong communication skills
Ability to assess installation and commissioning readiness
Desired Skills
?? Knowledge of HO3/HO4 system completion processes
?? Familiarity within the nuclear sector
