Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Process Technologist to join our site in Bodmin.



We specialise in cooked bacon and slow cooked meats in Bodmin. Slow cooked meats is where you can let your imagination run wild with so many cuisines and tasty dishes to create. Slow cooked will also give you opportunity to play a key role in process innovation as we strive for growth.



You'll play a key role in launching our amazing and delicious products smoothly, safely and successfully. You'll be part of a fabulous team, managing projects, and keeping everything on track from trial stages to the final product hitting the shelves. We will also want your experience and knowledge at the NPD stages to make sure products are expertly developed from the beginning.



Key Responsibilities:

Supporting and developing your team with clear goals Support scoping out projects Driving innovation that supports business goals Working closely with internal departments running factory trials. Solving problems, and making sure launches stay on track and on budget, Managing customer panels and approvals Management and maintenance of the critical path Managing trial budget in conjunction with the Site NPD Manager Staying audit-ready Following customer standards and codes of practice.


What we're looking for:


Strong background in food manufacturing, especially around customer trials and critical path planning. Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 2 qualified. Great communication and relationship-building skills, problem solving skills and proven experience driving an exciting food culture that puts our products at the heart of what we do. Driver's license will be required for this role.
