47,683+ (Depending on skills and experience)


What you'll be doing:




Ensuring timely placement of Purchase Contracts whilst ensuring adherence to Procurement/Supplier governance such as supplier accreditations and export controls Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the parts meets the requirements of the business and our customers Effective supplier relationship management maintaining strong, effective relationships with suppliers Proactively monitoring and communicating supplier's key performance indicators (KPIs) ensuring schedule adherence, invoice management and quality assurance performance Influencing and expediting dependencies via robust review mechanisms with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring correct and current data is maintained Interfacing across the Air business and with other teams and functions, e.g. PM, Engineering, Commercial, Finance Travel to suppliers to lead Business and Orderbook reviews

Your skills and experiences:





Essential:


Extensive Procurement experience, preferably in a high volume, fast paced aerospace, defence, regulated or manufacturing market Supply Chain orderbook management experience including experience of high volumes of purchase orders, supplier updates, queries and invoices A proven ability to collaborate, fostering close & trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders by using excellent verbal and written communication skills A Continuous Improvement mind-set with proven examples of identifying new ideas that drive improvement, problem solving and working collaboratively with others to identify a solution, ideally within a Procurement (or similar) environment Demonstrative working understanding of tool sets and IT such as ERP systems, Microsoft Office EXCEL to a high level is essential Ability to compile data, analyse and propose recommendations through reports and presentations

Desirable:


Experience with Tableau reporting system. MCIPS or a similar business/procurement related qualification would be welcomed

The Performance Delivery - Direct Line Feed Team:





The Performance Delivery - Direct Line Feed Team is responsible for managing both UK and international suppliers to ensure the Typhoon Production line is consistently supported with the required stock levels in a high-tempo environment.


The team works closely with internal customers and suppliers to understand demand, resolve issues, and maintain a smooth flow of materials. Through strong collaboration, effective communication, and the development of professional networks, the team plays a critical role in supporting production continuity. Their expertise in the Direct Line Feed process ensures timely delivery and alignment with production schedules.
