Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering value, driving efficiency, and leading high-performing teams? Tarmac is looking for an exceptional Senior Procurement Manager to take ownership of Category Management across our UK operations.
About the Role
As a pivotal leader within our Procurement function, you'll:

• Shape and deliver our Category Management strategy and governance across Tarmac.
• Lead and coach a talented team managing a 500m+ annual spend across UK Logistics, Facilities, Estates, and General Services.
• Spearhead our Fleet Management strategy for cars and vans-enhancing safety, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to unlock value, foster collaboration, and ensure alignment with the wider CRH global procurement framework.

This role is about more than procurement - it's about transforming how we deliver value to our business and customers.
What You'll Bring
You're a resilient and commercially astute professional who can influence at all levels. You'll bring:

• A track record in category management or strategic procurement, ideally in engineering, fleet, or construction sectors.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a passion for developing talent.
• Advanced negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving excellence, with the confidence to make decisions in complex environments.
• CIPS qualification and a degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's desirable).
