As Senior Procurement Manager, you will lead the Procurement Function across ParentPay Group. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity, within a growing business, to drive savings, make continuous improvements and partner with senior leaders to add value.

You will manage and cover the full spend portfolio across all areas of the business and will ensure compliance with and support further harmonisation of processes, tools, techniques, reporting, KPI's, and methodologies. You will also be required to develop and implement further enhancements of our procurement capabilities and work closely with the Finance Function as we look to build greater understanding and control of our Group spend.




The role will be home based with the expectation of occasional travel to any of our Group Locations.



Key Responsibilities



Develop and lead Procurement strategy throughout the business

Lead Procurement activity within ParentPay Group by developing and enhancing processes and ownership of policies developed by the Procurement Team Liaise and partner fully with senior stakeholders and work constructively and proactively with all teams across the business to deliver a consistent Procurement process and operation Develop (and review) Procurement strategy (including roadmap) and plan based on present and future needs and expectations in line with the Procurement and Category strategies and the Parent Pay strategy and plan Ensure medium term roadmaps and annual procurement plans for ParentPay are in place Create the business conditions to develop the Procurement function to the required maturity level Be a focal point across the business for all Procurement Activity

Supplier Relationship Management - including Category management and strategic sourcing

Ensure spend data is correct, regularly reported and analysed Carry out annual portfolio analysis of all Operational and Capex spend and suppliers and determine how to manage key elements of spend in line with the categories of ParentPay Group Develop a forensic insight into the supply markets of the ParentPay spend portfolio enabling you to provide market leading approaches and new ways of working to the business Drive acceptance of category strategies and flex and adapt as needed, consistently looking for innovative ways to drive improved functionality, increased value for money and reduced costs Ensure key suppliers consistently deliver fabulous service, great quality and even better value by embedding professional, fact based relationships in line with the Supplier Management process Working closely with the Group Infosec Department, manage risk throughout spend supply chains

Contract management and the related upstream procurement systems

Manage a contract repository supporting the active implementation of the contracts in all relevant business units and to increase contract compliance Ensure contract management practices are harmonised to enable management of the contracts and contract repository Work with the Group Legal functions to ensure that contract templates are covering the right legal clauses, have followed the appropriate approval flows and are up to date with regulatory requirements

Ensure Compliance, Risk Management and Drive Continuous Improvement

Ensure deployment and execution through standardised procurement processes, supporting systems, roles & responsibilities, master data management and knowledge management Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal, ethical, and company standards, identify and mitigate supply chain risks, and develop contingency plans Actively look for ways in which to ensure continuous improvements in the results for your area

Budget, Cost Optimisation and enhancements to KPIs and Reporting

Ensure a procurement dashboard and reporting including KPIs is produced and is aligned with business reporting Track and analyse value, validate procurement performance results and execute performance management Monitoring of spend and contract values across the organisation ensuring integrity of systemic records and reliable, clear reporting outputs Reconciliation and partnering with Finance team through budget process to ensure capture of costs, liabilities and risks Identification, documentation and reporting of cost-saving opportunities and risks in partnership with stakeholders and Finance team


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise





Extensive Procurement experience, with demonstratable experience in a Technology / SaaS organisation Must have strong IT and General Category experience Understanding of Procurement and Procurement Transformation programs Strong commercial knowledge and knowledge of related processes, tools, competences Program and Project management skills Knowledge of Continuous improvement programs Significant experience of managing Indirect spend Categories preferred Experience in driving significant change through Strategic Sourcing with tangible and demonstrable successes Ideally with international experience, working with and in different cultures. Good knowledge and experience of implementing Best Practice Procurement and Supplier Management approaches Understanding and experience of developing Demonstrates superior interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills to multiple levels of the organisation
