Senior Procurement Partnering Manager - PD:

As the Sr. Procurement Partnering Manager, you will work in a dynamic global environment where you will meet the challenge to bring focus on day-to-day customer engagement to enable an excellent, end-to-end customer experience. You act as the primary contact for your respective business customer and, thanks to your deep understanding of procurement and the customer day-to-day procurement-related needs, you provide simple and seamless access for the applicable business customer to procurement, independent of the spend category. You collaborate with customers, internal procurement (i.e. Chapters and capability areas such as core delivery, contracting, solutions, analytics, insights, etc.) and transactional/operations teams to align on needs and opportunity fulfilment or general service enhancements that improve the overall customer experience and realize value for the customer. You work closely with other team members as a business area customer subject matter expert, project or workstream lead to develop strategies, measure and track performance, while also identifying and leveraging synergies.

Your key responsibilities include:

As the Senior Procurement Partnering Manager PD you will play a variety of roles according to your experience, knowledge, and the general business/team requirements, including but not limited to:

Customer domain expert providing business insights and opportunities from daily customer engagement to the procurement organization, including the tactical/operations teams, to (i) maintain and/or improve the end-to-end procurement experience for the applicable customer and (ii) proactively identify and develop opportunities where procurement can drive greater value realization for the business customer.

Strategy Developer and value driver developing and driving operational and tactical business plans, including prioritization, customer buy-in for/sponsorship of applicable procurement services and solutions tailored to customer needs and aligned to overall customer and procurement strategies.

Procurement ambassador and customer partner, acting as the primary point of contact for specific customers focused on simplifying and optimizing the customer experience across procurement, including identifying procurement opportunities, promoting solutions, and advocating for customer compliance (i.e., with policies, tools, processes) and adoption (i.e., myBuy uptake and improvement).

You will work with your team, broader capability area, networks, and squads/project teams to determine the various roles you can take to deliver or support both project and foundational work.

You bring the following skills, mindset, and behaviors:

Skills:

You hold a university degree, with a business or life science degree preferable. You also have 7+ years with procurement (multi-category) or relevant sales or customer management leadership experience, ideally in a matrix organization as well as strong demonstrated success in building and cultivating collaborative and productive relationships with senior stakeholders.

In addition, you have:

Demonstrated experience in the relevant customer core business

Demonstrated project management skills

Business level fluency in English
