The Worldwide Product Engineering department operates across Austin, Leicester, and Manila, providing third-level customer support on issues related to Emerson's products. This team works closely with Emerson's Marketing and Technology on the development of next-generation products and provides DeltaV consulting and software upgrade services to customers.
This role, based at Emerson's Leicester office, is part of a global team of Product Engineers within the Customer Support organization, which delivers frontline technical support.
The Senior Product Engineering Specialist position is well suited for problem solvers who enjoy working closely with customers, on a variety of topics, to provide solutions. This is achieved through the product engineer's personal knowledge and ability to build relationships with our worldwide end users. We are looking for candidates who enjoy working with many different customers and who can develop close, consultative, long-term relationships with our key customers. In addition to this customer interaction, those in Product Engineering have opportunities to be exposed to, and work with, many Emerson organizations. Training on all aspects of DeltaV and related technologies will be made available as required to improve or maintain current knowledge.
