Rocksteady Music School is the UK's largest rock and pop school. We teach fun and inclusive in-school band lessons to primary age children. Our mission is simple: to amplify children's self-belief and remove barriers to music education. We're currently in thousands of schools in the UK, teaching tens of thousands of children every week - and we're growing fast.
We're now looking for a strategic and hands-on senior product manager to lead the development of our existing customer-facing digital products that support our core service and to enable exciting new offerings - from learning support tools and mobile apps to platforms that engage children, teachers, and parents alike.
Sitting within the marketing team and reporting to the CMO, you'll also work closely with our Chief Technology Officer to bridge the gap between customer insight, design, and technology. You'll work closely with our in-house software development team to define and deliver visionary yet practical solutions that really serve our customers.
This role is based at our head office in a beautiful converted manor house in Liphook. Here, along with our teams in our Birmingham office, we all play our part in supporting our band leaders to reach as many children as possible with their lessons. We are a community of music lovers using our individual talents to help give children the self-belief to succeed. That's what gets us out of bed in the morning.
Managing Creative Direction, your ability to lead, influence, and inspire cross-functional collaboration will be critical to success.
As a Senior Product manager you will:
Product strategy & vision: Drive the digital product roadmap, aligning with business goals and customer needs, and new commercial opportunities.
Customer-centric Research: Working closely with Head of Engagement, champion customer & user research to deliver insight-driven decision-making, ensuring our products are engaging, intuitive, and impactful.
Cross-functional collaboration: Act as the key link between marketing, tech, and other departments, translating customer needs into practical, scalable product solutions.
Project management: Scoping, prioritising, planning, and launching products on time and to spec working closely with our in-house software team.
Creative leadership: Manage the creative director to ensure design quality and consistency across digital and traditional marketing outputs, with a strong focus on excellence for digital products.
Quality & performance: Use data and feedback to evaluate product performance and iterate for continual improvement.
Inspire & influence: Work across teams without direct authority to rally support, secure buy-in, and help deliver, on time, products that delight our customers.
As a Senior Product Manager you'll need:
Significant experience in digital product management, ideally within a customer-focused environment
Experience overseeing digital creative execution using tools such as Figma
Proven ability to lead both strategically and operationally - balancing big-picture vision with detailed delivery
Excellent project management and organisational skills, using PM tools such as Asana & Jira
Experience running customer research initiatives - Quant & Qual
Data-driven, able to make a review decisions based on data and insights using tools such as GA and Hotjar.
Experience managing products built for web and mobile including complex data, or highly interactive experiences
Confident in Wordpress CMS helpful and experience building content experiences in Hubspot CRM a bonus.
