What to Expect
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Amplience, you\'ll own the product marketing strategy for Amplience products from beginning to end. You will understand the requirements of our customers at an organizational, buyer, and user level by conducting persona and buyer\'s journey research. You will also be an expert on the landscape by driving competitive intelligence and positioning. With this understanding you will determine positioning, naming, messaging and product go-to-market plans. At every stage you will shape the voice of the product and help it gain traction from inception to release.

However, we appreciate that flexibility is key to all our lives, so all we ask is that you are willing and able to come in when required; once a week/month depending on your team and location. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead competitive analysis and positioning to equip our teams with the necessary knowledge to drive sales, differentiate in the market, and influence product innovation.
  • Evolve our market segmentation understanding by developing our persona definitions through conducting customer interviews and studies, and mapping that into our buyer\'s journey.
  • Provide insights, feedback and direction into the product roadmap based on competitor, customer and market feedback.
  • Develop and enable others on compelling positioning and messaging for multiple product areas that effectively communicates our value proposition for retailers and brands.
  • Create go-to-market strategies that define internal & external communication plans, collaborating with Product teams and key stakeholders to help you execute.
  • You will leverage analytics and insights to help with pricing and packaging decisions, conversion motions, and optimizing pricing and sales incentives to achieve growth goals.
  • Help Marketing produce content for our website, in-product, for our Commercial teams and beyond, to support both product launch & demand generation activities.
  • As a product, customer and industry expert, you will prepare and give presentations & demos to customers, press and analysts, and at community events.
  • Measure and report on the success of each project, communicating the value achieved plus any learnings across the business.
  • Input into the Amplience strategy, from quarterly objectives, to long term product vision, to how we position and market Amplience overall.
  • Help us improve our ways of working so the team can operate more effectively across multiple projects and teams.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing at a fast-moving B2B SaaS-based company.
  • Clear understanding of the digital commerce landscape.
  • Proven ability to drive a variety of go-to-market strategies and release readiness processes with product management, marketing, sales, partners and others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally across sales, marketing & product management organizations.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to draw business-relevant inferences and determine strategies and tactics from data and insights.
  • BA or BS or higher in marketing, business, computer science, engineering or related field.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of time.
  • English language skills (business fluency) are a must-have, other languages are a plus.
