Role overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead marketing for Tes' safeguarding portfolio, which includes MyConcern, Clarity, and Tes Safeguarding Training.

This role will also have a strategic remit to help shape the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Tes Spark, our integrated whole child solution. Tes Spark brings together safeguarding, behaviour, attendance, parent engagement, (Class Charts) and individual learning plans (Provision Map) into one powerful ecosystem to support every aspect of a pupil's journey.

You will be responsible for crafting clear, compelling positioning and messaging, developing robust marketing plans, and driving adoption, engagement, and retention. This role requires close collaboration with Product, Customer Operations, Sales, and the wider marketing functions (Creative, Comms, Digital, Events) to ensure the safeguarding and whole child solutions achieve their full market potential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Execution

Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategies for MyConcern, Clarity, and Tes Safeguarding Training across the UK and international markets. Play a strategic role in the GTM planning for Tes Spark, influencing positioning and market activation for the broader whole child solution. Translate business objectives into comprehensive marketing plans that drive awareness, acquisition, and retention. Develop integrated, multi-channel campaigns across digital, paid, content, events, and direct marketing. Ensure all campaigns are aligned with commercial priorities and have clear, measurable outcomes.

2. Messaging & Positioning

Define clear, differentiated positioning for the safeguarding portfolio, tailored to the needs of safeguarding leads, DSLs, headteachers, and trust executives. Develop messaging frameworks for Tes Spark that communicate the value of an integrated whole child solution. Ensure consistency and impact across all customer touchpoints, including sales enablement materials, web content, and external communications.

3. Content Development & Thought Leadership

Collaborate with Creative and Comms teams to deliver high-quality content including guides, whitepapers, blogs, webinars, and case studies. Establish Tes as a trusted voice in safeguarding and whole child approaches, providing resources and insights that help schools meet compliance obligations and improve pupil outcomes.

4. Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis

Maintain a deep understanding of safeguarding regulations, compliance requirements, and evolving policy landscapes in the UK and internationally. Track competitor activity and market trends, sharing insights to inform both marketing strategy and product roadmaps. Provide actionable intelligence to Sales, Product, and leadership teams to ensure Tes stays ahead of the market.

5. Sales Enablement & Cross Functional Support

Develop sales enablement tools including battlecards, pitch decks, and ROI calculators to support commercial growth. Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Operations to align on go-to-market execution. Support key external partnerships and alliances that extend product reach and strengthen market presence.

6. Performance, Analytics, and Reporting

Use analytics tools including Looker, Google Analytics, Salesforce, and other platforms to track and optimise campaign performance. Provide regular reporting on marketing effectiveness and ROI, offering recommendations for improvement. Ensure marketing plans are always data-driven and outcome-focused.

What will you need to succeed?
