The role

We're looking for a lawyer to lead our Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) team within the Employment, Pensions and Immigration (EPI) National Service Line (NSL). This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of legal support, drive digital transformation, and make a real impact across our fast growing, leading national practice.

The person

The successful candidate will be a 10PQE+ qualified solicitor. Either be a senior-level PSL with relevant expertise in employment and (ideally) immigration law and proven experience of leading a PSL team, or a senior lawyer with the same expertise and equivalent experience. An individual who embraces digital tools and automation. A clear communicator with excellent written English and a flair for engaging content. Strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.

The activities

Lead and inspire a talented team of PSLs, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Drive innovation in legal content creation--think blogs, newsletters, press releases, and digital campaigns. Deliver engaging training to clients and colleagues, helping them stay ahead of legal developments. Champion technology, managing automated precedent documents and exploring new tools to enhance efficiency. Keep our lawyers sharp, ensuring they're up to date with legislation, best practices, and market trends. Support onboarding, making sure new joiners receive top-tier know-how inductions. Collaborate across teams, working with partners, innovation specialists, and knowledge experts to elevate our national reputation

Pre employment screening
