Based from our Liverpool office with some flexibility to work from home, subject to business requirements and line manager approval. Regular travel in and around the Liverpool City Region including North Birkenhead, Wirral.

Hours:

Full Time. 5 days per week (37.5 Hours) Worked between Monday- Friday

Salary:

Grade 4 28,539 - 30,865 (5% employer pension contribution, Medicash and group life assurance, 27 days annual leave per annum for FTE plus bank holidays)

Role Summary



We are seeking a highly motivated individual with expert organisational and people skills who will be the reliable, positive, "go-to" person for our Education programmes in North Birkenhead. You will be playing a pivotal role in supporting high quality local programme delivery and fostering positive relationships with external partners and agencies.

As a Senior Programme Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting staff in the North Birkenhead Cradle to Career programme to deliver a high quality programme with maximum impact. This will include a core focus on leading the coordination of the Education strand of Cradle to Career, with additional responsibility for the delivery and oversight of key workstreams.

The core objectives of the role include, but are not limited to:

Providing robust coordination of Education strand of Cradle to Career Managing the high quality delivery of key workstreams within the Education strand (including Early Years speech and language, literacy, transition and attendance support) Influencing operational relationships and, when required, those at a strategic level Leading processes and systems for robust administration and coordination of a complex programme Coordinating programme related external and internal communications activity
You will also support the team to deliver an ambitious evaluation and sustainable practice workstream, as the programme moves into the final year of delivery.

Key Responsibilities:



Providing robust coordination of Education strand of Cradle to Career



Proactively work with the relevant (Senior) Programme Manager in relation to daily programme delivery tasks: Create clear, robust programme delivery plans Ensure plans are regularly monitored and iterated effectively Timely processing of payments and invoices for programme delivery (including oversight of expenses, purchase orders and invoices) Email and diary management, scheduling of meetings, booking travel and accommodation Ensure robust data management, data input and tracking so that programme data is accurate and up to date Attend partner meetings to provide administrative support as required Coordinate the team including scheduling meetings, maintaining action logs and being the first point of contact when core team members are unavailable Support compilation and quality assurance of internal and external reports. Oversee project management for some Education workstreams (including literacy, Early Years speech and language and attendance support) Support Steering and Working group meetings, including working with colleagues to create agendas, distribute paperwork and capture minutes Support the team with end of programme evaluation activity (including research, case studies, summary documents and event planning) Support other strands of Cradle to Career at the Manager's discretion

Managing the high quality delivery of key workstreams within the Education strand



Hold responsibility for the effective delivery of key programme workstreams (specifically leading on literacy, Early Years speech and language and attendance support) reporting to the (Senior) Programme Manager. Manage stakeholder relationships and regularly communicate with identified delivery partners Identify and raise delivery risks to the (Senior) Programme Manager in a timely manner Review and report on project progress against objectives, milestones and expected outcomes Ensure effective gathering and analysis of shared measurement framework data, including school surveys and feedback

Influencing operational relationships and when required, those at a strategic level



Effective and appropriate partner management across key stakeholders, working collaboratively with internal teams to maintain productive relationships and ensure ongoing programme engagement Proactively identify risks arising with programme partners and work with the (Senior) Programme Manager to mitigate these Lead effective communication channels between Right to Succeed, schools, services, local authorities and other partners, ensuring information is shared in a concise, timely and proactive manner Conduct research tasks to develop knowledge of the local area and key challenges facing programme partners Represent Right to Succeed in key stakeholder meetings and advocate for the programme Plan and deliver events attended by programme partners and external stakeholders Support other colleagues working on events and discrete projects

Leading on improving processes and systems for robust administration and coordination of a complex programme



Support Programme Officers to fulfil their duties to a high standard, leading a culture of continual improvement where needed Oversee stakeholder management systems, working with Programme Managers to ensure processes are followed and continually improved Oversee assessment systems and data capturing, working with (Senior) Programme Managers and the Data Team to ensure data capture processes are followed and continually improved Oversee programme delivery systems (including GL Assessment and Finance systems within the Education programmes), working with the Programme Managers to ensure processes are followed and continually improved Conduct annual due diligence checks and maintain partnership agreements for all programme partners Oversee event management systems, working with Programme Managers and the Development Team to ensure events are delivered successfully and the processes are reviewed and continually improved Share good practice in systems management across the organisation and support the improvement of processes and systems across other departments

Coordinating programme related external and internal communications activity



Plan a comprehensive calendar of key milestones, events and learning opportunities across the year, including some evening and weekend events, in collaboration with the Team and external partners Work with the Communications Team to deliver key programme marketing and PR campaigns across the year Support the Communications Team with administration and day to day management of the charity's online platforms including its website, CRM (Hubspot) and social media tools, ensuring that they remain current and effective in building support for the work of the charity and its partners Support the organisation in annual learning and celebration events for programmes Contribute to ensuring that the internal communications across programmes within the organisation is effective Act as a conduit between the delivery/non delivery team to identify and maximise opportunities to share positive stories about Right to Succeed's work

Travel



This role will require significant local travel between schools and other agencies in the North Birkenhead area and occasional travel to Right to Succeed's Liverpool and Manchester

offices.

Experience

(essential)

Experience of working in the education sector focusing on improving outcomes for vulnerable young people Working in a growing team in a fast paced, busy environment and with tight deadlines Building and maintaining effective relationships with key external stakeholders Planning, organising and supporting the delivery of events and complex projects involving multiple tasks and stakeholders Experience of improving processes and efficiency savings Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks without close supervision. Experience (

Two years experience working in schools, or supporting young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, other education organisation) Experience of conducting/being involved in research and evaluation activity Experience of managing conflict and instigating positive professional challenge where appropriate
