Ortana Media Group develops and maintains its own workflow orchestration solution called Cubix for the broadcast and media sectors encompassing all the required workflows for media management, processing and delivery, as well as providing managed services for its end users. Main Responsibilities

Providing primary engineering resource for all project engineering activities to clients globally Pre-Sales Engineering resource to assist sales team and resellers Assisting Development and other team members to understand client use cases Day to Day Team Leader of other engineering resources Working with Project Manager to provide good project governance - achieved through excellent client communications, management of timescales, snags, escalations and financials Assisting with the handover of completed SoW's and CR's to Support Third Line Support for Cubix and associated services Create structured development requests based on client feedback and commercial opportunities to enhance the Cubix product and other OMG services - working alongside Head of Development Being commercially aware for professional services - accurate tracking of time, and client management for up-selling of more PS Assisting CEO and Head of Development in managing both a 6 week and 4-month product and services roadmap for OMG Project managing & delivering the technical aspects of Trade Shows and Client based events
Experience & Skills

Essential;

Strong Experience (3+ years) of Microsoft SQL Server - maintaining, designing and developing T-SQL In-depth knowledge and experience of the broadcast industry, technologies, standards and typical workflows Media and Broadcast Industry experience - examples would be playout, post production and VoD Strong problem-solving skills - being able to break down problems into its component parts and progress Strong technical background in IT skills - Windows server, networking and web technologies Experience with .net development technologies Client Facing Experience - previous experience of direct client management / engagement - suitable examples would be pre-sales, support, project engineering Candidates should possess excellent communication skills both written and oral and be comfortable using them with clients whose first language is not always English Self-Motivated - need to demonstrate ability to be self-sufficient and to take initiative. Present problems with solutions. Demonstrate clear organisational skills for both individual and team environments Ability & willingness to travel to clients and trade shows globally as required (expected to be approx. 6-10 trips per year) Ability to perform well under high levels of activity - performing escalations as needed Candidates must demonstrate good commercial understanding and fiscal control within project environments Candidates need to show good time management and an ability to maintain deadlines
