Integrated Project Lead

Here within the Anglian Water @one Alliance, we are a totally collaborative organisation made up of our seven partner companies (Anglian Water, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska and SWECO) and our extended supply chain, delivering over half of Anglian Water\'s capital investment programme.

We are now working in our latest Asset Management Period, known as AMP 7 and this will see us deliver a \xc2\xa31.2bn programme of work over the next five years. Are you ready to join us as we gear up to deliver the most exciting and innovative AMP we have ever seen?

To enhance our ability to develop an optimal programme portfolio for delivery, we are looking for a number of talented, enthusiastic and experienced Project Managers to join the team as Integrated Project Leaders (IPL) to look after designated schemes and help us meet

our objective of outperformance!

What you will be doing?

As an IPL, you\'ll lead and own a group of projects and develop delivery strategies before presenting and obtaining client approval through to handover. You\'ll oversee the design, construction, commissioning, and aftercare of all projects to agreed handover timeframes and standards in a fast-paced, demanding yet highly rewarding environment.

All of this, whilst delivering first-class customer service and always looking at creative ways of adopting new ways of working and technology to truly add value!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own the end-to-end processes of a group of projects ensuring alignment
  • with a range of outcomes and objectives by adopting various approaches to achieve
  • and maximise outperformance
  • Ensure that Health & Safety, Environment & Quality (SHEQ)ares considered during
  • the development and implementation of strategies, projects, standards and
  • processes and never compromised at any stage
  • Create, develop, and sustain a high-performing team where you coach and train
  • individuals to meet career aspirations and enhance team and organisational output
  • and capabilities
  • Lead on proactive, engaging, and transparent stakeholder management which
  • champions collaboration and professional challenge to achieve desired outcomes for
  • all parties
  • Establish a commercial strategy (including procurement) for the optimum delivery of
  • a portfolio of work
  • Take an active leadership approach to balance an acceptable risk with an acceptable
  • cost; implement timely and appropriate mitigation strategies where required
  • Ensure the team follow the appropriate Governance processes and procedures to
  • appropriately establish, manage and control projects

To join the team in a highly involved and pivotal role, you\'ll hold an APMP or equivalent

(Practitioner level) qualification and have significant experience at Project Manager and Lead Project Manager level (equivalent to Senior PM/ Project Director) in the Water industry.

Accustomed to and comfortable with managing teams and a range of demanding stakeholders, you\'ll have experience of working in commercial Alliances and understand the importance of collaboration to achieve success.

Operating as an innovative, visible, and inspirational leader, you\'ll relish bringing together a fully collaborative and integrated team that can add value consistently. Able to demonstrate sound judgement and decision-making, you\'ll be comfortable in creating positive tension for the best of the business. Leading by example through accountability and ownership, you\'ll want to drive enhanced performance in a safe and efficient fashion.
