What would a typical day look like for you?

As a Senior Project Manager, you will have leadership of a portfolio of programmes, projects, and support activities within Project & Consultancy Services. This involves:


Personally lead individual programmes using project management disciplines aligned to Bank strategy and values, and the achievement of agreed costs and benefits. Directly people manage a team in delivery of a portfolio of projects, and support activities within Project and Consultancy Services. Other dimensions will vary dependent upon project(s) being specifically managed by the Senior Project Manager.

Your skills:

Essential

Professional project management qualification Experience in managing complex situations and problems through to conclusion Ability to plan and coordinate multiple deliverables from initial idea creation through to implementation Experience in planning, project management, and fostering a collaborative environment Ability to manage and coordinate a team of multi disciplined people as part of change delivery Proven ability to lead, coach, mentor, and manage teams of managers and analysts Knowledge of Organisational Change Management and Risk Management processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges and make informed decisions Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders. Experience in facilitating clear agreements, providing direction, and removing blockers

Preferred

Proven track record in Change Management and Delivery Experience of strong internal & external relationships including regulatory bodies Strong working knowledge of system functionality and interaction Flexibility to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends

We will be supportive and flexible to your circumstances, so for roles that offer a hybrid option we ask colleagues to attend their base location a minimum of 3 days a week so they can connect, collaborate and learn together. The other 2 days can be worked either from home or another bank location. Some of our roles are customer facing which means that it's really important to be able to work with customers face to face and hybrid working isn't appropriate.
