What will you be doing?
As a project manager you will be responsible for taking a design from concept, through planning and execution, to completion. Ensuring optimal construction methods and materials are considered with both budgets and timelines in mind, bringing the project to life at the highest quality.
Responsibilities:
Independent management of projects from initial concept through to completion.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Generate and refine quotes and scope initial scheduling.
Prepare and manage budgets and schedules, keeping clients and stakeholders up to date with progress.
Oversee multiple projects, collaborating with the team to deliver to deadlines.
Excellent communication with the entire team and clients.
Production of detailed technical designs to enable workshop fabrication.
Development and specification of suitable build methods, techniques, and materials
Tracking progress, managing changes, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
Required skills:
Solid understanding of construction methodologies and materials.
Demonstrable experience of project management within a workshop environment or similar.
Strong track record of successful relationship building.
Commercial acumen, and confidence with negotiation.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Team player who isn't afraid of getting stuck in and collaborating with others
Ability to adapt and keep on track with ever-changing specifications.
Enthusiastic problem solver.
Standard working hours: 8.00am-5.00pm Monday-Friday
Location: Workshop based, Belvedere, DA17 6BS
Off site: Occasional travel to project sites
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
