AEC are recruiting a Senior Project Manager to join our site team in Essex



The Role



Answering principally to the Business Manager, this is a full-time role with various responsibilities. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for all projects under their banner.



The role has line management responsibility for those staff working on projects, for example surveyors and air testing staff where working on projects, ensuring utilization is achieved, and maximum profit is made on each project.



What You'll Be Doing



Writing of RAMs in relation to survey & air testing projects. Scoping of large survey projects. Scoping removal projects of all sizes. Writing of asbestos removal Specifications and tenders. Visiting various sites across the south of the UK inline projects under their banner. Arrange and attend Pre start site meetings. Visit sites to monitor and report on projects for their entirety. Invite LARC's to price works from AEC's supply chain. Review asbestos surveys, asbestos information, and documentation for a project and that of client requests. Effective communication with a client for all things asbestos. Develop a rapport with site and office-based staff, to ensure open communication is promoted. Ensure effective future planning; that projects are booked and checked in advance to ensure problems do not occur on site. Conduct a commercial review of all projects to ensure correct billing. Variations on site if client asks for more works - gain additional p/order and authorization. Dealing effectively with any complaints or queries from customers. Effective communication with customers and staff. Meetings with the whole team at AEC South, including the Business Manager regularly and head office on TEAMs. Produce monthly reports for the Business Manager.
