Role summary

You will lead delivery of a large scale industrial cold storage project valued between 10m and 20m. You will be the senior project lead on site, with full backing from the wider TC & Co team across tendering, commercial, and technical support. This is not a standalone role. You will lead locally while being supported centrally.

The role starts in pre construction. You will play a key role in shaping the project before site start, then lead delivery through to completion.

Start date

Project start on site. Late March to early April with an estimated duration of 2 years Project Manager start. Approximately 8 weeks prior to site start
Key responsibilities

Lead delivery of a multi disciplinary industrial build Take ownership of programme, coordination, and site leadership Manage groundworks, civils, structures, envelope, and full M&E fit out Work closely with commercial and tendering teams for ongoing support Oversee subcontractor performance and package coordination Chair site, progress, and coordination meetings Act as main point of contact for client and consultants Drive quality, safety, and programme certainty
Pre construction responsibilities

Support pre start planning and mobilisation Review and contribute to the Construction Phase Plan Review RAMS, logistics plans, and safety documentation Assist with design coordination and buildability input Support early procurement and subcontractor engagement Contribute to overall delivery strategy with senior management
Team build and leadership

Play a key role in shaping the site team structure Support selection and appointment of Site Manager and key staff Help establish site systems, reporting, and routines Build a strong, disciplined project team from day one
Experience required

Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager Proven delivery of projects between 10m and 20m Strong background in industrial or logistics buildings Cold storage or temperature controlled facility experience preferred Proven experience managing multiple trade packages Comfortable leading site delivery with senior support in place
Qualifications and requirements

Relevant construction or engineering qualification preferred SMSTS required CSCS Black Card required Strong working knowledge of CDM and UK construction regulations
