About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of high-value private and mixed-use developments across the UK.
You'll take full responsibility for delivery -- from pre-construction planning through to completion -- on projects that shape communities, deliver excellence, and set new standards for quality and efficiency.
This role offers the opportunity to work on multi-million-pound private housing projects, complex commercial builds, and selected government-tendered schemes within a long-term national programme.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full project lifecycle -- planning, procurement, delivery, and handover -- ensuring each project meets time, cost, and quality targets.
Manage project budgets up to 100m+, driving cost control and value engineering at every stage.
Oversee subcontractor performance, contract administration, and compliance with CDM regulations.
Chair progress meetings, coordinate design teams, and ensure proactive risk and issue management.
Liaise with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders to maintain smooth communication and delivery confidence.
Ensure site safety, sustainability standards, and environmental performance targets are met or exceeded.
About You
You're a proven project leader who thrives in complex, high-value construction environments. You understand both the technical and strategic aspects of large-scale development and can deliver exceptional outcomes while maintaining strong commercial awareness.
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 10 years' experience in project or construction management within housing, commercial or infrastructure sectors.
Proven delivery of multi-million-pound construction projects (50m-250m+).
Strong commercial understanding of JCT / NEC contracts and tender processes.
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline (Chartered status desirable).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Desirable
Experience with government frameworks or public-private partnerships.
Knowledge of modern methods of construction (MMC) and sustainability standards.
