This is a crucial position leading the Project Management team and delivery of successful grid connection projects throughout the UK. You will be required to provide an accurate, timely and consistent level of service to both internal and external stakeholders across the whole range of ICP business services from pre-construction handover to construction and all the way through to maintenance.

More about the role:



Contribute to steering project-wide continuous improvement and delivering against targets. Lead projects with multiple workstreams though all stages of the project lifecycle. Ability to monitor and report on project progress and ensure adherence to project plans, manage changes to the project scope, schedule and project costs using appropriate governance, manage project documentation ensuring proper documentation control. Planning of overall projects pipeline schedule and ensure appropriate resource is available to the teams. Ensure all teams are submitting weekly MLO (most likely outcome) numbers that are accurate and a true reflection of future revenue forecast. Ensure Project Management departmental processes are implemented and formalised into the IMS (integrated management system). Manage operational communications and relationships with customers. Manage and ensure the performance of sub-contractors on site to deliver projects on time, cost and high quality. Line Management of Project Managers & Junior Project Managers. Ensure teams are providing regular project progress updates to clients. Ensure Project Managers are allocated to appropriate projects and workload is distributed evenly and strategically. Monitor team performance and resource capability.

Excellent Line Management skills across multi-disciplined teams Strong co-ordination and project management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships Proactive and motivated approach Empathetic approach, providing excellent customer service Ability to investigate, resolve and/or escalate client issues/needs Strong IT skills including MS suite Ability to multi-task and juggle various projects and clients Ability to work as part of a busy team but also be able to work independently and use own initiative to problem solve
