This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Senior Project Manager to drive transformative change within Croud's client portfolio. You will be at the forefront of optimising operational excellence, enhancing client value, and ensuring sustained profitability across complex, high-impact digital marketing engagements.


You will transcend traditional project management, acting as a catalyst for operational innovation and effectiveness across major client accounts. You will leverage your expertise in digital marketing, coupled with exceptional commercial acumen and leadership skills, to foster a culture of continuous improvement and deliver unparalleled results.


This role demands a proactive, strategic thinker capable of identifying and resolving systemic challenges, implementing best-in-class operational frameworks, and driving significant efficiency gains. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our client delivery model, ensuring it remains agile, scalable, and aligned with our clients' evolving needs. You will be expected to identify the root cause of challenges and implement best practice for account management, deliverables planning, timelines, and stakeholder management.


You'll play an integral role within our triumvirate structure, meaning you'll be one of three leaders responsible for driving success across a client portfolio - which we call our "team of teams" structure. Working closely with the Managing Partner, and a Strategy & Planning Lead to drive business growth, profitability as well as a number of other KPIs.

RESPONSIBILITIES



End to End Project Management:

+ Working closely with specialist teams to define scopes of work, and cost projects and deliverables
+ Planning out schedules mapping key milestones and dependencies
+ Leading on the presentation of client roadmaps
+ Checking delivery vs. scope and holding internal stakeholders accountable
+ Ensuring project schedules, client status reports and account development plans remain up to date
+ Leading internal and external status meetings as required

Owning Internal & External Reporting:

+ Owning client RAG status reports, risk and change logs
+ Pulling and reviewing hours burndown reporting (resource to client fee)
+ Leading client communications on project progress across paid media, SEO and data workstreams
+ Flagging concerns and or areas outside agreed project tolerance to the relevant senior sponsor
+ Working with the relevant senior sponsor to put in place plans to mitigate the risks flagged

Operational Excellence & Transformation

+ Developing and implementing strategic vision for operational excellence, driving continuous improvement and innovation across the agency
+ Leading the design and implementation of standardised operational processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability
+ Driving the adoption of automations, tech and tools across operational teams to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort and decision-making
+ Encouraging and facilitating seamless working relationships between internal stakeholders within different specialist teams
+ Designing and delivering training to internal specialist teams on effective account management and project management best practices

Resource Management & Scheduling:

+ Within your client portfolio you'll work with specialists to look ahead at key milestones and events and schedule people's time
+ Adjusting hours allocation as required for those within your team of teams to ensure people are effectively utilised
+ Working with a central resource management lead where required to tap into those outside of your team or move individuals around where required
+ Working with the Managing Partner to scope requirements for new resources and business case new headcount for your clients and projects

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

+ Cultivating and maintaining strong, strategic relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner
+ Leading and mentoring team members across cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, alignment, and accountability across all disciplines
+ Delivering clear, concise, and impactful executive-level communications and presentations, providing strategic insights and updates to key stakeholders
+ Leading organisational change initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes, technologies, and best practices

PERSON SPECIFICATION



Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems A strategic thinker with a strong passion for operational excellence, innovation, and implementing processes that drive efficiency across teams A confident and articulate communicator, capable of delivering clear, impactful presentations and reports, leading both client-facing and internal meetings, and effectively communicating strategic updates Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end digital marketing projects within an agency environment Skilled in defining scopes of work, accurately costing projects, and ensuring delivery stays aligned with agreed scope and objectives Strong knowledge of resource planning, including forecasting, scheduling, and adjusting team allocations to meet project needs Tech-savvy, with experience in introducing and embedding tools and automations to optimise workflows and reduce manual effort Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to foster collaboration, alignment, and accountability across cross-functional and specialist teams

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there's flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
