We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with a strong background in electro-mechanical engineering to lead complex design and development projects in the Research and Development team within Gill.
Duties
Technically competent with a hands-on understanding of engineering principles.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from initiation to completion.
Ability to lead and motivate teams, effectively communicate with stakeholders, and manage expectations.
Ability to identify and resolve project-related issues, mitigate risks, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Familiarity with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools for planning, tracking, and reporting.
Proven track record aligning projects outcomes with strategic business goals
Ability to manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
Understanding the technical aspects of the project to effectively manage and support the team.
Experience
Proven experience in a Senior Project Manager role or similar capacity within a relevant industry.
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams.
Delivering projects on time and within budget.
5-7 years of Project Management in Electronic-Mechanical Engineering projects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Strong understanding of technical aspects to support engineering teams.
Eligible for BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) or hold a valid UK Security clearance.
PRINCE2 or APM Qualifications would be advantageous in providing an understanding of project contexts.
