Senior Project Manager


Base Location:

South Coast (Portsmouth, Fareham, Southampton, Slinfold)


Salary:

38,212 - 58,945-depending on skills and experience + Car Allowance + Annual Bonus, plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.


Working Pattern:

Full Time, Monday - Friday. Required working hours to be flexible around 07:30 - 15:30, role will require travel to sites across Hampshire and West Sussex.

What will I be doing in this role





In this role you will be responsible for planning, executing and supervising an LED lantern replacement scheme which will be completed as part of a 4 year programme under the South Coast PFIs.



Your responsibilities and duties will include:


Meeting with management and clients to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs Managing sub contractor delivery teams Developing detailed project plans to instruct project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirements Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery Compiling and submitting project status reports to clients, management and other stakeholders Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation Developing excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders Effective communication and oversight of the project workforce to ensure a successful delivery of the project. Ensure the commissioning standards on site are met.

What do I need to be successful in this role





We are looking for you to join us with a strong project management background and be able to demonstrate a track record of successfully managing complex projects.


Proficiency in inventory control and process improvement Working knowledge of project management software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and other relevant applications Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and make hard decisions required to achieve project objectives Experience working in the Highway Electrical Sector would be advantageous or an understanding of projects that are impacted by working on the Highways.
