: 37.5 hours per week | 4 day working week Monday to Thursday

We're looking for a

Senior Project Planner

to join our Programme Management team at our Advanced Manufacturing Facility in

Ampthill, Bedfordshire





You'll play a key role in managing the

end-to-end planning lifecycle

-- from proposal to execution -- helping deliver some of the UK's most complex and innovative engineering programmes.



What You'll Be Doing



Lead the

planning and schedule management

process across the full programme lifecycle. Support proposal preparation and bid planning, developing schedules and planning artefacts for customer submissions. Act as the

planning integrator

between programme management, senior leadership, and customers. Validate

cost and schedule integration

to drive effective performance management. Ensure full

vertical and horizontal integration

of schedules and programme artefacts. Work with the Risk Manager to perform

schedule risk analyses

and predictive assessments. Identify and resolve schedule conflicts, developing

workaround and recovery strategies

. Maintain and update the

Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)

weekly and monthly. Manage the

Performance Measurement Baseline

and ensure Earned Value Management (EVM) principles are applied. Provide

schedule insights and reports

for internal and client reviews.

Required skills, qualifications and experience




Proven experience in

Project Planning

or

PMO

roles within complex programmes. Strong understanding of

Earned Value Management (EVM)

. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to spot scheduling and cost issues early. Confident communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills. Skilled in the creation, maintenance, and control of

Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)

. Calm, methodical, and detail-oriented -- even under pressure.

Desirable:



Experience with

Primavera P6

and

SAP cost planning/reporting

. Background in

Defence, MoD

, or other complex engineering environments. Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, systems, and processes.
