Job description
Due to an expansion in our client's portfolio, there is an exciting opportunity for a property and asset manager (possibly combined role) to join the expanding team.
The portfolio is comprised predominantly of regional shopping centres and is managed in-house by a team of experienced professionals.
All asset management activity is conducted in-house and so it's vital strong relationships are built with the tenants and the community to improve returns on the assets.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing the marketing of void units and working alongside the letting agent.
Undertaking lease consultancy work including lease re-gearing, renewals & rent reviews.
Identifying and reporting on projects to increase value through refurbishment & redevelopment.
Identifying opportunities to add value & increase income through commercialisation opportunities.
Building successful relationships with tenant contacts and external advisors.
Working with external advisors and centre management teams to ensure Health & Safety compliance, day-to-day property management, tenant liaison, repairs and maintenance.
Assisting the finance team with rental forecasting and managing service charge budgets.
Preparing & presenting regular property and asset reports.
Skills and qualifications required:
Ideally someone with proven experience in commercial property from a property/asset management, L&T, investment or agency background.
Excellent interpersonal, organisational & time management skills.
