Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Property Manager to lead our expanding Lettings and Property Management team in Darlington. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of a growing portfolio, drive business development, and oversee the day-to-day operations of our property management department.

You will play a key role in shaping the future of our portfolio, ensuring exceptional service delivery to landlords and tenants, and supporting the continued growth of Carver Lettings.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the management of the residential property portfolio, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction. Lead, mentor, and support the property management team to deliver high performance and excellent service. Drive portfolio growth through proactive business development and landlord acquisition. Maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors. Oversee property maintenance, conduct inspections, and compliance processes. Manage tenancy lifecycles including rent reviews, check-ins, and checkouts. Ensure all lettings processes adhere to current legislation and company policies. Analyse performance metrics and contribute to strategic planning for business growth. Promote Carver Lettings and cross-sell associated services. Represent the company professionally and uphold our reputation for excellence.
What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in property management, ideally in a senior or supervisory role. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Strong understanding of lettings legislation and compliance. A commercial mindset with a passion for business growth and client care. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. Confident using property management software and Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. ARLA qualification (or willingness to obtain).
