Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Property Manager to oversee the management of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organisational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of property management practices. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure the efficient operation of properties while enhancing tenant satisfaction and maximising occupancy rates.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Develop and implement strategies to optimise property performance, including marketing initiatives and upselling opportunities. Oversee tenant relations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are upheld and coordinate necessary repairs or improvements. Maintain accurate records through data entry in property management software, such as Yardi, ensuring all tenant information is up-to-date. Prepare budgets, financial reports, and forecasts to monitor property performance against targets. Collaborate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely completion of work orders. Train and supervise junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in property management or a related field. Proficiency in using property management software, particularly Yardi, is highly desirable. Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail for accurate data entry. Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for effective tenant interactions. Ability to upsell services and amenities to enhance tenant experience and increase revenue. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
