We now have opportunities for a Senior Property Solicitor level to join our Property Legal team.

Utilising skills and experience gained within a similar position, you will report to the Head of Property and Litigation and be responsible for your own caseload covering a wide range of property matters.

Your next role
Ideally, you will be an experienced property specialist who is able to provide legal support to the Council in property matters.

You will support the Council in a broad range of property matters including drafting leases, Finance Agreements, Options Agreement, Pre-emptions Agreements, Wayleaves, Easements and all documentation relating to commercial conveyancing and advising on commercial property law issues and be able to advice on property related matters on major regeneration projects. The role will involve handling a varied caseload of Property matters, as well as providing legal advice and support to clients, committees, members and senior officers. You will also support and mentor less experienced colleagues.

About you
We are looking for an experienced practitioner with at least five years\xe2\x80\x99 experience who possesses a strong background in property law. You will arrive at solutions through analytical ability and thorough research, and show tenacity and strong interpersonal skills necessary to build effective working relationships and establish credibility with clients and colleagues. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also be capable of working with limited support and supervision.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act \xe2\x80\x9cfor the effective performance of a customer-facing role\xe2\x80\x9d).
