Position Overview

The PR & Communications EMEA team at Ralph Lauren plays a pivotal role in amplifying the brand's luxury lifestyle image and crafting compelling narratives that resonate within the region. As a Senior Associate within this team, you'll be instrumental in developing and executing strategic communications plans that drive brand awareness, and foster meaningful relationships with key stakeholders. Your expertise will help shape the brand's messaging and ensure consistency across channels and regions. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, to deliver impactful campaigns that highlight Ralph Lauren's heritage and style. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, you'll help bring the brand's iconic aesthetic to life, while navigating the ever-evolving media landscape and identifying opportunities to innovate and elevate the brand's presence in the region. This position is based in London and reports to the Public Relations, Brand Communications Lead.









Essential Duties & Responsibilities

PR Activities:



Oversee daily news consolidation to the NY Corp team, featuring Ralph Lauren news and editorial, as well as competitor and industry news

Oversee weekly and monthly editorial reports, providing insights and analysis on brand performance

Coordinate and manage show, presentations and major event lists, ensuring accurate and timely information dissemination

Provide assets and press kits to teams, including seasonal lines, new initiatives/product pushes, and image assets

Provide comprehensive support to EMEA teams on various activations, including local events, content creation, and global brand campaigns

Provide logistical support around major brand events, including travel, ground transportation, scheduling, and external bookings Manage store opening calendar and provide regular updates to Global Corp Comms and support the team on preparing store opening press releases Coordinate and manage the EMEA PR calendar, ensuring timely and effective execution of PR activities

Coordinate and prepare recaps, reports, and presentations for senior management, providing insights and analysis on brand performance

Collaborate with buying/merch teams and marketing to identify key seasonal product pushes and develop strategies to promote them

Manage all sample orders for EMEA across all brands, ensuring efficient logistics and distribution

Social Content Strategy & Influencer Relations:


Assist Brand Communications Lead & regional teams in creating high-quality local event content for social media channels Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and messaging across all social content in the region Support EMEA teams on talent discovery, casting and vetting

Assist teams with talent briefs and manage influencer contracts with local teams and in-house Legal counterparts

Coordinate EMEA influencer recap reports

Work with EMEA teams and Global influencer team on seeding and gifting initiatives, including packaging and shipping

Strategy and Innovation:

Conduct competitor and industry research, providing insights and analysis to inform brand strategy

Identify new opportunities, ideas, and platforms to be utilized in the region, driving innovation and growth

Philanthropy:

Support on philanthropic initiatives and fundraising event ideation within the region

Support in tracking and coordinating donations across activations in the region with charity partners

Administrative and Operational Tasks:

Manage PO tracking and budget coordination, ensuring timely and accurate financial management

Manage invoice process, setting up new vendors and providing updates to vendors inquiring about payment






Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

Experience in PR, communications, or a related field, with a focus on luxury fashion or lifestyle Brand storytelling expertise: Ability to craft compelling narratives that capture the essence of the brand Excellent written and verbal communication: Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills to effectively communicate brand messages across various channels. Strategic thinking: Capacity to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies Social media savvy: In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices to amplify brand messaging Project management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines Collaboration and teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Analytical skills: Ability to measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies, using data to inform future initiatives Brand knowledge: Deep understanding of the luxury fashion industry Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines Creativity: Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop unique communication solutions Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring error-free communication materials * Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook applications
